The first edition of our good Villagers was published in serial form, the columns of the "Hunter of the Alps", a weekly newspaper widely distributed in Varese. Hope Of The Church Jemolo was its founder, febbraio1893 5, the owner and director. The name comes from the brigade of volunteers, under the command of Garibaldi, who fought during the War of Independence, in the northern Lombardy. In this edition followed in two editions, 1896 and 1902, for the presses Printer Varese "Maj & Malnati.
I MILLIONAIRES Villagers were impressed for the first time, at the bottom to OUR GIFT Villagers , Graphic Arts in 1922 by Varese.
In 1955, the Rotary Club of Varese, with a preface by Lino Oldroyd, republished the OUR GIFT Villagers combining some poems drawn from the "de Lira Vers ..." and other unpublished poems.
