I am surviving the holiday season :-)
What I propose is a tool for converting currencies.
The add-in can be downloaded by clicking here
.
on how and where to save the add-in to see the Help section:
"Troubleshooting add-ons"
Once the file is saved you can add references from the menu Tools-> Add-ons ... if you can use the Browse button to locate the file.
an example can easily illustrate what happens ... this is a string that can perform a search in google type convert a euro in U.S. dollars:
http://www.google.it/search?q=1+EUR+in+USD
page that opens you will see the result at the top of the instrument calculator google ... that number is what is recovered as a result of the conversion from the add ... :-)
In this way we delegate to update the Google index conversion ... a heartfelt thanks :-)
Once you add the component to open Excel will create a toolbar is not anchored with a button to display the Form of the drive.
Combo are displayed in two lists of currencies used in the conversion. In the first column you will find the 3-letter code that refers to the currency (eg EUR for the euro), the currency name in the second and third countries in which it is used.
clicking on the column headers to sort you get alternately increasing and decreasing respect for each click on the title you want to sort.
close the form the conversion result is copied into memory, so it is available to be pasted into the cell.
not choosing any value from the second combo, the conversion will happen in the defoult €.
It 'goes without saying that for it to work properly Internet Explorer must be installed and the computer must be connected to the Internet.

What about ... fun
Greetings
r
ps
clicking here you can download the workbook (xls) ... as you can then save as Excel add-in, so the xla file is automatically saved to the folder which contains the AddIns
